NON-Slip Heat Shrink grip is designed to simply cut the amount that you need to cover and protect. Simply use a Hair dryer to shrink the diameter. Comes in 3 sizes 12”, 16” and 25” lengths to cover all Rods with ¾” to 1” diameter Handle.
For example: to cover a 9” cork piece cut It 9 ¼” long to allow a slight over hang of each end.
Can you put this over a pistol grip handle rod? I have a few cork handled pistol grip that the cork covers even the butt end. Will this work on that rod?
The grip saver will form to curves in a rod handle. When you say pistol grip how extreme is the curve? It will form over handles that have fatter grip for the palm of the hand. You will have use a little force putting it fatter part of the handle. Let me know how it works if you try it.
